Three Specialists. One Mission.

KCx Protection Unit for Maximum Protection.

Three specialists. Three surfaces. One mission: maximum protection for your vehicle. The KCx Protection Unit is ready to protect your vehicle. We’ll be unveiling these new products for the first time at Automechanika in Frankfurt am Main from September 8 to 12, 2026, at our booth D70 in Hall 12.

The three specialists—Ceramic Neo, Ceramic Glass, and Plast Shield—share a common mission: to provide targeted protection for the paint, glass, and unpainted plastics on your vehicle. Each product has a clearly defined purpose: Ceramic Neo delivers an impressive deep shine, Ceramic Glass ensures clear visibility in the rain, and Plast Shield keeps unpainted plastic parts on the vehicle’s exterior looking like new.

Ceramic Neo – the Finish Protection Agent with a long-term mission

As one of the three specialists, Ceramic Neo takes on the role of finish protection agent. This premium, next generation ceramic sealant provides strong water repellency, a significant deepening of colour with an extreme gloss level, and a noticeably smoother feel. The cured layer protects lacquered exterior surfaces from UV radiation, road salt, bird droppings, surface corrosion and mechanical damage – making a significant contribution to maintaining the vehicle’s value and potentially boosting its value.

Before application, a thorough alkaline pre-wash of the vehicle is recommended (e.g. with Green Star in a 1:10 dilution), followed – depending on the condition of the finish – by machine polishing using Heavy Cut or Fine Cut and Micro Cut. Remove all polishing residues entirely using a Polish and Sealing Towel. All surfaces should then be wiped down with light pressure using a clean Polish and Sealing Towel saturated with Silicon- & Wachsentferner, and cleaned again immediately before drying with another clean Polish and Sealing Towel, ensuring the finish is free from scratches and holograms. Next, apply Ceramic Neo section by section in two crosswise motions using the Application Sponge, allow it to aire and polish to a streak-free finish with the Coating Towel. The coating is considered weather-resistant after at least 24 hours; the first car wash is recommended no earlier than nine days later. Thanks to its Easy-to-Clean characteristics, the surface can be gently cleaned by hand. Mild handwashing and professional aftercare help ensure that the finish protection agent can deliver its full performance long-term. The product is available in two sizes.

Ceramic Glass – Clear Vision Agent for driving in the rain

Within the team of three specialists, Ceramic Glass Cg0.01 acts as the glass expert. This high-performance, fluorine-free glass sealant (PFAS-free) ensures strong hydrophobic characteristics and a high droplet run-off speed: From around 50 km/h, raindrops are swept off the windscreen by the airflow, improving visibility in the rain and reducing the need to use the windscreen wipers. The Easy-to-Clean effect also makes it easier to remove environmental debris and insect residues.

To ensure optimal chemical bonding, thorough preparation of the glass surface is recommended. The windscreen should first be cleaned thoroughly with Glass Cleaner, using blue cleaning clay if necessary, to ensure no residue remains, and then treated with Glass Pre Polish in accordance with the product instructions to remove the top, corroded layer and ensure perfect bonding of the glass sealant.

Ceramic Glass should only be applied to clean, dry glass surfaces at 15–25 °C. When applying to windscreens, start with one half. The sealant should be spread using the Application Sponge in a crosswise motions until an even film of liquid is formed; leave to aire for 12 minutes and then polish to a shine using a Polish and Sealing Towel; any dried residues can be re-dissolved using the sealant and polished off straight away. The sealant should be left undisturbed to cure for 24 hours; it will be fully cured after five days. Alcohol-based windscreen cleaners are recommended for aftercare.

Plast Shield – the Protection Agent for unpainted plastics

Within the trio of surface specialists, Plast Shield is the agent for unpainted plastic materials used on the outside of the vehicle. This high-performance plastic sealant ensures a significant deepening of colour, impressive water repellency and a distinct Easy-to-Clean effect. Sill panels, bumpers and other plastic parts are given a like-new look, whilst its extreme durability ensures the result lasts for a long time.

For best results, thorough pre-cleaning, e.g. with Green Star, is recommended. Solvent-based cleaners should not be used; surfaces must be free of residue after cleaning. Plast Shield should then be applied evenly using an Application Sponge and left to aire for 12 minutes. Any excess product can be removed with the Coating Towel if necessary. The plastic surfaces treated must not be subjected to any mechanical stress for 24 hours, as the sealant only cures completely after this period.
